Carlo's visit: カルロがやってくる Carlo arrived at the airport around 11 p.m. Because of the time difference between Chicago and here, he was really hungry. So we went to this restaurant next to the ocean for lunch.
カルロは、11時頃空港に着いた。シカゴとここの時差のせいか、カルロはとてつもなくお腹をすかせていたので、海岸沿いにあるこのレストランでランチをした。

This is the beach next to this restaurant. There are many people surfing there. Maybe in the future, we might want to give a try to surfing?!
これが、レストランの横にあったビーチ。たくさんの人がサーフィンを楽しんでいた。たぶん、いつか、私たちもサーフィンにトライしてもいいかも？

de Yong Museum: We went to this museum to enjoy some arts. The building and tower were nice and interesting since we could see the view of San Francisco, but their art collection was not that great.

ディヨン美術館：どこに行こうかと考えたあげく、この比較的新しい美術館へ芸術鑑賞へ。この建物とタワーはサンフランシスコの風景がみえよかったものの、ここの芸術品は、いまいちだった。

After visiting the museum and another place, we went to Japan Town in San Francisco. We did not plan to eat dinner there, but we were too hungry to go to a different restaurant. We had Nabeyaki-Udon. Very Japanese atmosphere..
美術館とほかの場所を訪れた後、サンフランシスコの日本町へ来た。晩ご飯をここで食べるつもりじゃなかったけど、とてもお腹が空いていたので、ほかの場所に行くのも耐えられず、ここで夕食を。鍋焼きうどんを食べた。とても日本らしい雰囲気だった。
