Opera Night: オペラ鑑賞
Alessandro is now into opera and we found a nice opera performance in San Jose, so we went there to enjoy it one night.
今、アレはオペラにはまっていて、そんな中、サンノゼでなかなかいいオペラをするというので、チケットをとって行って来ました。
We got our seats in the center, so we could see them better.
早くチケットもとっていたので、席も比較的前列の真ん中で、よく見えました。

Alessandro mastered this opera by listening to the music so many times before coming here, so he knew every piece. So he even noticed right away when they cut some scenes to make this opera shorter.. Usually opera is 4-5 hours long, but this time was ONLY 3.5 hours long.
オペラはものにもよるけど、比較的長め。４〜５時間はザラだし、シーンを変えなくてはいけないので、休憩も２〜３回あったりします。今回は短めだなぁということらしいけど、３時間半はあったから、決して短くはないと思うのだけど、、、。
