Magnafiume visit: マニャフューメの訪問
Since Elisa and Enrico came back from Italy, we had them over at our place.
エリザとエンリコがイタリアから帰ってきたので、さっそく二人を我が家へ招待。

We could finally give our wedding gifts to them. :)
やっと、二人に結婚祝いを渡すことができました。

They found this "Kitchen Aid" blender very useful. They ended up with using this on the next day. :P
この「キッチンエイド」のブレンダーはとても気に入ってくれた模様。なんと、二人はこれを翌日使うことに、、へへへ。

After lunch, we went walking. Ale wanted to threw his boomerang in the sky.
ランチの後、散歩に出かけた。アレはブーメランを持って出かけた。

Where did his boomerang go?
かれのブーメランは、どこへ？

We wanted to go hiking, but the place was closed, so we walked around our neighborhood.
ハイキングに行きたかったのだけど、ハイキングの場所が閉鎖されていたので、仕方なく、近所を歩いてみた。

To San Francisco:サンフランシスコへ
One morning, we woke up early for the weekend and went to San Francisco by train and bike.
朝、週末にしては早く起きたので、電車に自転車を乗せて、サンフラシスコに出かけた。

For lunch, we bought a fresh bread from Acme bakery and then cheese from this shop at the market.
ランチに、アクメベーカリーの焼きたてパンと、マーケットのあるこのお店でチーズを買った。
There were so many people, but we managed to find a nice bench for us to sit on and eat our lunch.
たくさん人がいたけど、なんとかベンチを見つけて、お昼ごはんを食べることができました。

Green tea Puff Cream: 抹茶シュークリーム

A friend of mine suggested this green tea puff cream to try if we like green-tea.
We knew this shop in our town, but we have never tried this puff cream. So of course, on the following day, we went this shop called "Satura" and got it.
友達が、抹茶が好きならと、ここの抹茶シュークリームをと教えてくれた。
このお店は知っていたけど、このシュークリームは試したことがなかったので、さっそく、翌日、サトゥラというこのお店に行ってゲットしました。

Whoever is interested in trying this green tea puff cream, you should let us know in advance before you come to our place. Because they are so popular, we have to go to the shop in the morning to get them. We went there a few times in the afternoon, they were all sold out.

この抹茶シュークリームを食べてみたい人は、あらかじめ我が家に来る時にお知らせください。というのも、朝いちで、このお店に買いに行かないと、売り切れてしまうのです。何度か午後に行ったのだけど、このシュークリームは売り切れてしまっていたのです。

Farewell dinner for Tuzzato: トゥツァートさんのお別れディナー
We went to Chili's to eat steak on the night before Tuzzato left for Italy.
トゥツァートがイタリアに帰る前日の夜、チリズというレストランにステーキを食べに行った。

Tuzzato's Graduation Ceremony :トゥツァートさんの卒業式

Before the ceremony started, Tuzzato came to greet us. :)
式が始まる前に、トゥツァートさんが席まで挨拶に来てくれた。

Tuzzato received his deploma from his advisor.
トゥツァート、指導教授より卒業証書を受け取る。

After the ceremony, we took a picture together. It was a clear/beautiful Californian sky and the perfect weather for his graduation.
式の後、一緒に写真を一枚。からりと晴れた空で、卒業式にふさわしい（カリフォルニア）日和でした。

The dishes from the party: お料理

This was one of many appetizers. Shrimps and zucchini rolls?
これは、多く出された前菜メニューの一つ。エビとズッキーニロールだっけな。

The first dish: Pasta with seafoods.

I don't remember the name, but it was really elaborated. Asparagus somewhere in this dish.
名前は忘れちゃったけど、とっても手の込んだお料理でした。たしかアスパラガスがどこかに入っていたお料理だったと思うのだけど、、、。

A white fish, but I think it's branzino.
そして白魚。たぶん、黒鯛だと思うけど。

After the fish dish, a lemon sherbet to refresh one's mouth.
お魚料理の後は、お口直しで、レモンのシャーベット。

Before this fruits plate, we had a meat dish, but we were too full to eat.
However, I think fruits go to a different stomach. :P
このフルーツプレートの前に、肉料理があったのだけど、お腹がいっぱいすぎて、パスしました。でも、フルーツは、お腹の入る場所が違うみたい。へへへ

本当においしかったな〜。
The wedding cake was ready!

We started the party around 13 pm and we kept eating until this time. We were really full by then.
この宴会、午後１時頃にスタートして、そこからひたすら食べ続け、気がつけばこんな時間に。ほんとに、お腹いっぱいだったよ〜！

I was sitting next to Elena. Elena was a very cheerful and nice person to eat with.
私の席は、エレナのとなり。エレナは、とっても明るくて元気な人で、話が尽きることなく、いろいろ話したなぁ〜。持ち馬の話になったのだけど、「馬もってんの〜？」と私は驚いたりなんてしてたけど、エレナは、まるで飼い犬について話すように、持ち馬について話してくれたよ。
Enrico looked really tired, no, he was tired. I guess they got enough pictures today. :P
エンリコ、疲れたようにみえる、んじゃんくて、疲れてるのか〜！今日はいやってほど写真を撮ったのでは？！

Before the ceremony, Elisa and her father were standing together.
式の始まる前、外で立って待つエリザとエリザのお父さん。

After the ceremony, there were many pictures taken like this. The newly wed with both their parents.
式の後は、こんな感じで、たくさん写真をとりました。「新婚さんとその両親」

Once they stepped out from the church, people threw rice at them.
彼らが一歩、教会からでると、こんな感じで、みんなが米をなげつけます。

After the wedding, we had to drive 20 minutes to the reception place.
式の後は、20分ほど離れたところで、披露宴。
