Carlo visit: カルロさん来る
Carlo came to visit us in Milan.
アレの高校の時の友達のカルロさんがミラノの家に来てくれました。
Since Ale's parents know him since he was younger, they talked about many things.
アレの両親も前から知っているカルロなので、話も盛り上がっていました。

Fish：魚
This is considered as one of the best fish in Italy...
これ、たぶん、ヒラメか、ヒラメ科の魚で、イタリアでは高級魚とされているらしい。
It was very fresh and tasty. I enjoyed a lot.
身もプリプリしてて、美味しかった！イタリアではもっぱらオーブン料理でした。

Anniversary Dinner in Milan:
ミラノで結婚記念日のディナー

For Ale's parents' anniversary we went to a restaurant where got a star from Michellin.
アレの両親の結婚記念日にミラノにあるミシェランで星をもらったレストランに行ってきました。

After the big dinner, there was a tiny space for dessert too. (hard to resist....)

Christmas Lunch: クリスマスのランチ
We went to Zii Genova's place to celebrate Christmas together.
ジェノバのおじさん、おばさんの家で一緒にクリスマスを祝いました。

Visit Ale's cousin's place: いとこの家に行く！
Ale's cousin invited us over at their place and they have three kids at home.
アレのいとこが招待してくれました。アレのいとこの所には３人も子供がいます。
They were very energetic and cute: from left, Pietro (the oldest), Michelle (the youngest), Francesco.
とっても元気いっぱいのかわいい子供たちでした。左から、ピエトロくん（長男）、ミケレくん（三男）、フランチェスコくん（次男）。
They let Edo play with their toys. They have all the different kinds of toys!
エドもいろんなおもちゃで遊ばせてもらいました。
Edo even tried this new swing toy too! Communicating with Francesco?
エドは、このブランコみたいなおもちゃでも遊ばせてもらいました。フランチェスコと。
They were really kind to Edo and it seemed that Edo liked them too.
エドもたくさん遊んでもらって楽しそうでした。
After seeing them playing together, it's nice to have siblings to play with...
みんなが家で楽しそうに一緒に遊んでいるのをみると、兄弟っていいもんだなぁと思えてきました。

鯛の日：Red snapper night:
Milano has very good fish as well.
ミラノはお魚も本当に美味しかった！

However, Edo was not in a good mood, so he cried a lot.
でも、エドは少しご機嫌ななめで、泣いてました。
After his nonno picked him up, he was happy.
おじいちゃんに抱っこしてもらって、ごきげんもなおりました。

It was very cold in Milan. We always went out like this.

エド、おじいちゃんのスバルに乗る。心地良さそうでした。やっぱり揺れが全然違うわ〜。

Gnocchi night: ニョッキの夜
We had nice home-cooking dinners in Italy.
イタリアでは家庭料理を楽しみました。

Edo was very happy in his nonno's arms.
エドはイタリアのおじいちゃんに抱っこしてもらって、うれしそうでした。

Italy 2: イタリア２
We did not plan to go anywhere special this time and rather stayed in Mian to get relaxed.
今回は特にどこに行くこともなく、ミラノでゆっくりすることにしました。

After dinner, there was always a nice dessert.
夕食には、いつもデザートがありました。
今晩は、「パロッツォ」というケーキ。
Tonight was the cake called "Parrozzo".
Inside was like this. It was a light cake. Edo was very interested.
中はこんな感じ。ケーキと言っても、かなり軽め。エドも興味深々。

Back to Italy for winter: イタリアに帰省
This year we went back to Italy for winter. It's the first time to do this long trip with Edo.
今年の冬はイタリアに帰省しました。何はともあれ、エドを連れての初めての長旅となりました。
Before boarding at S.F. airport. This baby bjorn really made us our trip easier.
サンフランシスコ空港で搭乗前。このベイビービヨーンがかなり役立ちました。
After we arrived in Milan, we went to a pizza restaurant for dinner. Edo was really being entertained by his nonna.
ミラノに到着後、夕飯はピザを食べに行きました。イタリアのおばあちゃんにいっぱい遊んでもらいました。
Edo was being held by his nonni a lot during our visit.
いっぱい抱っこもしてもらいました。
Anyway, speaking of Italy, Pizza! It was really good!
で、イタリアといえば、ピザ。美味しかった〜！
