レゴ遊び：Play with Lego
Ever since Edo got Lego, he or his father plays with it at last once a day.
レゴをもらってから、英土というかアレが、一日に一回は遊んでます。
Lego mobile: Edo enjoys in this ride and usually Ale pushes him and goes around in the house.
レゴカー：英土はこれに乗るのが好きで、たいていアレが家じゅうをこれでぐるぐるまわってます。
Lego Robot: Ale made this Lego robot and it took Edo 5 seconds to break it.
レゴロボット：アレがこのロボットを作ってやったのだけど、５秒で壊されました。
Lego chair: Ale made this chair for Edo and...
レゴチェアー：アレがこれを作ってやって、エドが座ったところ、、
Edo became already too heavy for this?!
エドは、重くなりすぎたのかな？！

Well, these are just a few examples, but everyday Ale makes some and Edo breaks some. They seem to enjoy Lego life.
ってな具合で、毎日いろんな物を作っては壊し、のレゴ生活です。

Weekend branch: 週末のブランチ

Eiko-san, a friend of mine, invited us to her place for branch.

永子さんがブランチに招いてくれました。

Though there were four kids, but they were not really playing together, but they were there together to play with their own stuff...

子供たちは四人いるのだけど、まだ一緒に遊ぶって感じではなく、一緒にいて個々の事に集中という感じ。
With kids, there is almost impossible to get everybody' smiles in one picture.

子供がいると、みんなの笑顔を同時にとるのはほぼ不可能。

Visiting my friend's house with Edo:

英土と友達のお宅へ。

I haven't seen her since Edo was born and we wanted to see each other for a long time and finally it came true during my spring break.

英土が生まれてから会っていなかった友達なのだけど、随分前から会おう会おうと言いながら、なかなか会えず、この春休み中、彼女のお宅へお邪魔しました。

Joshua-kun, her 3 years old son, entertained Edo and Edo seemed to enjoy new toys there.

彼女の３歳になる息子さんのジョシュアくんは英土と遊んでくれて、英土は英土で新しいおもちゃを満喫していました。

Before I forget, we decided to take some pictures.

写真をとろう！ということになって、写真をとり始めました。
Joshua-kun was taking pictures of Edo.

ジョシュアくんは英土の写真をたくさん取ってくれたみたいです。
With her nice camera, she took a picture of Edo and sent it to me. Edo really enjoyed maracas.

彼女のいいカメラで撮ってくれて送ってくれた英土の写真。マラカス、とっても気に入ったみたいです。

To Yume's birthday Party: ゆめちゃんの誕生日パーティー

A daughter of my friend became 4 years old and invited us to her party.

私の友達の娘さんが４歳になり、誕生日会に招待してくれました。

We saw many Japanese kids at the party.

日本人の子供がパーティーにたくさんいました。
Edo is still too small to go around, so stayed in his daddy's arm.

英土はまだ動きまわるには小さいので、お父さんにだっこされてました。
They really organized this party well, so every one of us got our name tag prepared by them.

とっても段取りよくいろいろ考えていたパーティーで、英土も含め、参加者全員の名前シールが用意されてありました。
After the cake, there were many activities for the kids to enjoy and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun there.

ケーキを食べた後も、いろんなアクティビティーがあって、子供達は喜んで色々してました。
At the end, there was pinata which was so common in a birthday party in the States and the kids went crazy for it.
最後は、アメリカでは恒例のピニャータで、子供達もぞろぞろと集まっていました。

Since Edo is still too small, we couldn't do much except observing the party, but we learned a lot about what-to-do at the party for future's Edo's birthday.
英土がまだ小さいので、今回はパーティーを見る以外はあまり参加できなかったけど、将来の英土の誕生日パーティーの参考にかなりなりました。

8 months!: 八ヶ月になりました！
Time flies and Edo already became 8 months.
本当にあっという間？にエドも８ヶ月になりました。
Ale finally gave a box of LEGO to Edo. Ale has been waiting for this present for a long long time.
アレが待ちに待ったレゴをプレゼントしました。
Edo looked happy too!
エドもうれしそう！

To the park nearby: 公園デビュー？！
It was a little bit cold and windy, but we took a walk to the park nearby.
ちょっと寒くて風のある日だったけど、近くの公園まで散歩に行きました。
Edo, first time on the slide.

There was another kind of slide there, so we tried that too!

Edo was very happy with this ride! The video of his ride.

To Chez Panisse: シャパニースへ
Alberto and Alessandra made a reservation for this restaurant a night before they were going back to Italy. We all went there together!
アルベルトさんとアレッサンドラさんが帰る日の前日の夜にこのレストランを予約してくれました。みんなで行って来ました。

After dinner, we spent some time at Magnafiume's. There the boys were not quite playing together, but it was an interesting interaction between them.
ディナーの後、エンリコ夫婦の所に寄りました。そこで、サンドリーノとエドは一緒に遊ぶとまでは行かないけど、なんとなくおもしろいやりとりがありました。
Edo was quite interested in the book that Sandrino was holding, and trying to steal it from Sandrino. The video of the scene is here.
